Founded in 1965, TMTA was established to provide a forum for members of the marine trades industry to share ideas and experiences and to discuss topics of common interest. Over the years the Association has grown both in membership and in its scope of interest.

Our geographic area of coverage includes the Western shores of the Chesapeake Bay from the south side of the Potomac River to the North Carolina border.

Included among our membership are boat dealers, boat yards, boat brokers, boat builders, engine sales and service dealers, insurance brokers, marinas, surveyors, wholesalers, and others who directly or indirectly serve the boating public.
